Tried the vegan hazelnut biscoff Kürtősh and it was SO YUMMY, crunchy flaky exterior and soft, warm centre. Perfect level of sweetness, not too much biscoff that it’s overpowering. Great atmosphere for a Friday night dessert outing after dinner.

Kürtősh in West End is one of my favorite cafés. I’m a regular customer and usually order from Uber Eats at least twice a month. Their croissants are always buttery and flaky, and the almond croissant is especially delicious with a rich almond filling. The biscuit-style pastries are also fantastic — fresh, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. Overall, the quality of the pastries is consistently excellent. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great pastries.

Amazing little cafe with great selection of yummy cakes. Tea and coffee are also great. Amazing location with lots of good shops nearby and open late! Would definitely recommend anytime or for your late night snack run! 9.5/10

Such a sweet little gem in West End. Kürtősh is the perfect spot if you’re craving something fresh and indulgent. The chimney cakes are absolutely delicious warm, soft, and with the perfect crunch on the outside. They also have a great variety of cakes and pastries to choose from, all looking and tasting incredible. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, and the staff are lovely, making the whole experience even better. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!

One of the best carrot cakes that we’ve had in a long time! It had sultanas in it which I’ve never experienced before, it did make it lovely and moist though. Great short macchiato coffee and delicious jasmine green tea (what brand may we ask? My partner loved it) and all in a nice setting. The staff were accommodating and friendly too.

Visited Kurtosh West End for Valentine’s Day and my birthday — such a perfect dessert spot. The mini heart cakes were cute, light and creamy, and the Cookies & Cream, Pistachio Halva, and Tiramisu were all delicious. Smoothies were refreshing and paired well with the cakes. Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

A lovely spot to stop by before heading to the shops or to pick up cakes for catering or special occasions. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the Eggplant Bureka was absolutely delicious. The only drawback is the lack of air-conditioning. I visited early in the morning and it was already quite warm, so I can only imagine how uncomfortable it might get for both staff and diners on 30-degree days. Overall, a great little place with wonderful service and tasty food — I’d just love to see some cooling in place to make the experience even better.

For lunch today, we visited the highly acclaimed Kürtősh cafe in West End. True to its reputation, the place was incredibly popular, with a constant, bustling stream of customers creating a wonderfully lively and warm atmosphere. The Signature Hungarian Chimney Cake: You absolutely cannot visit without trying their namesake, the traditional Hungarian Chimney Cake (Kürtőskalács)! Freshly baked with a beautifully caramelized, glossy exterior, it is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s an incredibly comforting and addictive treat. A Dazzling Pastry Cabinet and Hearty Savories: Beyond the chimney cakes, the absolute highlight is their massive display cabinet filled with an array of beautiful Eastern European-inspired cakes and pastries. From Black Forest and Tiramisu to delicate sponge cakes, everything looks mouthwatering! Since we were here for lunch, we also ordered a toasted savory bread filled with deliciously melted cheese and savory meat, which was incredibly satisfying. The Perfect Coffee Pairing: Pairing a beautifully crafted hot latte and a refreshing iced black coffee with these fantastic pastries and savory bites made for the absolute perfect lunch date. If you love exploring unique international pastries or just want a fantastic cafe vibe in West End, Kürtősh is a highly recommended, must-visit spot!
